Hola! I’m Reina from Colombia, with over four years of experience teaching personalized one-on-one Spanish lessons both online and in person to students of different ages and levels. My teaching style is practical, engaging, and adapted to each student’s goals, pace, and learning style, with a strong focus on communication and real-life use. As someone who is also learning languages such as Arabic and continues improving my English, I understand the challenges of the process, which helps me create effective and supportive lessons. I am certified in Spanish as a Foreign Language and hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (International) (PGCEi). I have also been living in Dubai for over five years, working with students from diverse backgrounds. Teaching a language is about connection, confidence, and opening doors to new opportunities and experiences.

Experience: About the lesson: My classes are fully personalized based on your level, interests, and language goals. In the first sessions, I assess your current Spanish level if you already have experience, or we focus on understanding your goals and setting realistic targets if you are starting from zero. I design each lesson around your personal objectives, so the vocabulary and topics are always relevant to you.

Classes are structured in several blocks within a one-hour session, combining vocabulary practice, grammar focus, and guided conversation in a relaxed and natural way. I use techniques like scaffolding, spaced repetition, and contextual memorization to help you retain and use the language effectively. The main focus during class is speaking and building confidence in real communication, while also including activities that support reading, writing, and listening, so you can develop all four skills in a balanced and practical way.
