PhD in Sociology (Ongoing): Delhi School of Economics

Experience: I am qualified to be Assistant Professor at the University of Delhi, so I am also available to teach the Bachelors and Masters students.

I approach the topics using a lot of examples while making learning fun and interactive. I do not advocate rote learning rather emphasize on understanding of concepts. I am mindful of students` speed and comprehension skills in designing and following the course structure. I respect my students and promote mental health. My teaching methodology is in sync with my students.

I tutor for SST or Social Science and allied subjects at all school levels (Preferably CBSE) along with Arts or humanities for class XI and XII. My core area is sociology, social and cultural anthropology.

While being a tutor, I also am a student as I continue to pursue my PhD in Sociology. This makes me more sensitive and understanding towards the needs of my students. I am comfortable in teaching at all levels and I am passionate and enthusiastic in what I do.

A lot of students complain that they are terrified or simply bored of SST or Sociology, and I think I can help you look at the social science subjects in a new light along with much better academic results.
