Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have 10 years of teaching experience and 20 years of performance experience. I attended the prestigious Chetham`s School of Music before graduating with a BA honours and Performance and Teaching Diploma from Leeds College of Music. I am a fully qualified teacher with a PGCE and QTS, and have a masters in Music Education.
As a musician myself, I have travelled across the UK and Europe performing both as a soloist and as part of an Orchestra; in concerts, festivals and national competitions. I specialise in woodwind instruments, and have performed in Symphony Orchestras and ensembles, and have won the British Flute Society National competition twice.
I have successfully prepared students for ABRSM and Trinity graded exams, GCSE and A level performances, and external events and competitions, though am equally enthusiastic to have fun making music if that is your personal goal.
