I am an experienced Science educator with over 15 years of teaching in British International Schools, alongside extensive middle leadership experience. I hold a PGCE in Science and have spent 10+ years as Head of Chemistry and over 3 years as Head of Science, leading curriculum design, assessment, and standards across multiple key stages.

Experience: I specialise in GCSE Sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) and post-16 Science, with in-depth knowledge of Edexcel, AQA and Cambridge specifications. I also teach AS Level Biology and AS and A Level Chemistry, including AQA, Edexcel and Edexcel International A Level (IAL) courses.
My teaching style is clear, structured and exam-focused, shaped by years of curriculum leadership and examiner-style assessment planning. I place strong emphasis on developing secure subject understanding before applying knowledge to exam technique, command words, and mark schemes. Lessons are highly personalised, whether students need confidence-building, targeted intervention, or support in achieving top grades.
