Irish Primary School Teacher with 4 years tutoring experience. I am currently teaching in Raha International School here in Abu Dhabi and have been here for one year already. I have tutored children aged between 6 and 12 in both Australia and Ireland. I have tutored students in English, Mathematics, Piano and music theory. I have my own car and can travel to tutor your children.

Experience: When tutoring English I have helped students to improve their reading fluency by teaching students to sound out unknown words using phonics strategies and by learning sight words through fun word games. Similarly, I teach comprehension strategies to students to help them to understand the text they have read. In writing, I teach students different writing genres including persuasion, report, narrative etc. For Maths, I have helped children to complete subtraction, addition, multiplication and division questions. Students learn the meaning of numbers through place value games I teach. Similarly, I work with students to use their knowledge of number to answer mathematical problems. When teaching the piano to students I teach children to read piano sheet music. I give them popular songs to learn on the piano so as to help their engagement.
