I am currently a Lecturer, and I hold a PhD in Politics and International Studies from the University of Warwick. I have won awards for my teaching and research, having taught for 4 years at undergraduate and postgraduate level, mostly at Warwick plus Oxford Brookes. My work is published in world-leading interdisciplinary (IR, sociology, and geography) journals. I am knowledgeable and approachable, and my teaching is student-led. I use `dialogic pedagogy` - which means I rely on two-way conversational learning than lecturing. I spend more time than others walking students through *how* to make an argument, which I have found is a substantial omission from most academic learning.
