I`m Zena! I have had five years of experience as a private tutor both in NYC and Dubai as well as 2 years of experience as an Assistant teacher! During this time, I have had the opportunity to work on many essential skills that have led me to be a successful educator. I have been able to strengthen my interpersonal skills when interacting with children, my lesson delivery, and my creativity, as keeping children engaged is a vital part of their learning process! I love tutoring because I get to give each child the time and attention they require to turn their weaknesses to strengths and make them enjoy the process! I love making each child feel special and show them how much potential they have.

Each child is special in his/her own way and I want to be someone that helps them meet their individual needs. No matter the subject, we can find a way to make learning fun and engaging and get through the topics at hand together. Watching a child recognize their accomplishments and gradually build up their confidence is the most rewarding feeling and is why I do what I do.

Experience: My experience in both the USA and UAE have enabled me to have a better understanding of the various types of learners there are and allowed me to practice different teaching styles for those types of learners. I speak both english and arabic so I am able to teach native arabic speakers how to speak, read, and write english effectively.
