Parents of children in my class always comment on how confident their child has grown whilst being in my class. I ensure my children are strong, resilient learners and enjoy what they are accessing.

I am particularly skilled in the progression of writing, influencing the use of apt grammar and a variety of sentence structures. I also can influence speed and skill in mental arithmetic in Maths, providing a range of ways to access equations and problems with ease.

I have taught for two years in the Primary section in the UK and now teach in an International School in the UAE. I currently teach Year 2 but have had experience in every year group from Year 1 to Year 6.

Availability: Sunday to Wednesday from 5pm-8pm

Experience: My teaching style consists of a range of approaches that are tailored to each individual child. I first secure a relationship with the child to learn their learning behaviours in order to better prepare me for the learning style that they prefer. This is important as it means the child receives the best possible outcome from their time spent with me.

Lessons include a lot of application. Lots of teachers prefer to spend time talking about ideas and new skills, whereas I opt to let the child have a go! I believe it is imperative that we teach a skill and allow our children to apply it. If we don’t do this, they will never know!
